Having travelled around most of Australia over many years, JC and Evelyne Wagnon have seen firsthand the gradual degradation of this countries natural resources and environment by irresponsible practices. JC believed this is mainly due to tradition and/or indifference, and the best way to change these attitudes, is education. After pondering this for some time, he came up with the idea of a family board game which would mix the education with fun; Starlo Fishing Forever Australia is born.

 

 

The game needed to direct awareness to many common problems while promoting good fishing habits and the right attitude towards our natural resources and the environment, and all this while amusing and bringing the family and friends closer together.

This was over ten years ago and little by little the game board and the rules were developed to create this uniquely entertaining and instructive game.

Their son Eric, being an avid fisherman and concerned about the state of natural resources and the environment, became involved with the game on his return from Europe.

The family business “Fishing Forever Games” was created in 2008 with the goal of bringing onto the Australian market an exciting and educational family board game which would influence people’s present attitudes towards protecting the future, and hopefully make a difference.
